Online UPS Systems (Double-Conversion)
Online double-conversion UPS for loads that cannot tolerate even a transfer-time gap in power.
What Makes an Online UPS Different
An online (double-conversion) UPS continuously converts incoming AC power to DC and back to AC again, so the load is always running from the UPS's own clean output — never directly from mains. That means zero transfer time when the grid fails, and full isolation from voltage sags, surges, and frequency variation, not just outright outages.
This comes at a higher cost and slightly lower efficiency than line-interactive or standby topologies, which is why we recommend it specifically for loads that genuinely cannot tolerate a transfer gap — servers, medical equipment, and process-control systems — rather than as a default for every installation.
Online UPS Supply & Installation
- Online double-conversion UPS from 1kVA to 1MVA
- Sizing based on a real load assessment, not a rule-of-thumb
- VRLA or lithium-ion battery bank matched to required runtime
- Installation, electrical integration and commissioning
- SNMP/Modbus connectivity for remote monitoring where required
Frequently Asked Questions
Is an online UPS always the right choice?
Not necessarily. Online UPS makes sense for loads that cannot tolerate any transfer gap or power-quality variation — servers, medical equipment, precision process control. For less sensitive loads, a line-interactive or standby UPS can do the job at a lower cost. We recommend based on what your equipment actually needs.
Does an online UPS cost more to run than other topologies?
Online (double-conversion) UPS typically runs at slightly lower efficiency than line-interactive or standby units, since it's continuously converting power rather than passing it through. For mission-critical loads, that efficiency trade-off is usually justified by the zero-transfer-time protection it provides.

Maintenance and support after handover
Our work does not end at commissioning. We keep your systems running with a maintenance plan built around your site.
1, 2 or 3-year maintenance contracts
Planned preventive maintenance visits, inspection and test reports, and recommendations, on a contract length that suits your site.
Emergency visits
Emergency call-outs are part of the maintenance contract and are handled with priority according to the criticality of your site.
One team for every system
We maintain every system we supply and install, and we can take over the maintenance of existing systems on your site.
Visit frequency, emergency arrangements and spare parts are agreed with each client based on the site and the systems covered.
