UPS Maintenance & Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
Scheduled preventive visits and AMC coverage that catch battery and capacity degradation before it becomes downtime.
Why a Maintenance Contract Matters for a UPS
A UPS is only as reliable as its last inspection. Batteries lose capacity gradually, capacitors age, and fans wear out — none of it visible from the front panel until the unit fails to switch over during a real outage. An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) puts scheduled, documented visits in place instead of waiting for an alarm.
We offer one-time maintenance visits and ongoing AMC coverage, sized to how critical your load is — a single annual visit for a lightly-loaded office UPS, or quarterly visits with load-bank testing for a hospital critical branch or data center.
Maintenance & AMC Scope
- Battery health checks — internal resistance, float voltage and cell balance testing
- Load-bank testing to confirm real runtime and capacity, not just nameplate figures
- Transfer-switch and bypass verification
- Firmware and monitoring-card checks for networked UPS units
- Priority corrective-visit response for AMC customers when a fault or alarm occurs
- A written report after every visit, with any degrading component flagged before it fails
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between one-time maintenance and an AMC?
A one-time visit is a single scheduled inspection — useful ahead of a warranty review or after a power event. An AMC is an ongoing contract with a set visit schedule (typically annual or quarterly, depending on load criticality) plus priority response if something goes wrong between visits.
How often should a UPS actually be serviced?
It depends on the load it protects and the battery type. As a starting point, a lightly-loaded office UPS is usually fine on an annual visit, while a hospital critical branch or data center UPS benefits from quarterly checks with periodic load-bank testing. We size the schedule to your risk tolerance, not a fixed rule.

Maintenance and support after handover
Our work does not end at commissioning. We keep your systems running with a maintenance plan built around your site.
1, 2 or 3-year maintenance contracts
Planned preventive maintenance visits, inspection and test reports, and recommendations, on a contract length that suits your site.
Emergency visits
Emergency call-outs are part of the maintenance contract and are handled with priority according to the criticality of your site.
One team for every system
We maintain every system we supply and install, and we can take over the maintenance of existing systems on your site.
Visit frequency, emergency arrangements and spare parts are agreed with each client based on the site and the systems covered.
